KC Current taps Scott Jenkins as VP, Facility Development

The K.C. Current has hired Scott Jenkins as the club’s new VP/Facility Development. In this role, Jenkins will lead operations and opening of K.C. Current Stadium in the spring of 2024, the first stadium in the world that will be purpose-built for a women’s professional soccer team. Jenkins will lead efforts to target a LEED Gold Certification for the construction of the stadium and will also take charge of facility management and event operations. Previously, Jenkins served as GM at Mercedes-Benz Stadium AMB Sports & Entertainment in Atlanta, where he successfully launched and managed a LEED Platinum Certified 70,000-seat stadium. He has also served as VP/Ballpark Operations with the Mariners, as well as VP/Stadium Operation with both the Eagles and Brewers.
