Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent - NewCo was awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men’s club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.
As such, Relevent – NewCo is now seeking to build a truly world class business focused on the monetisation of these commercial rights.
Role Overview
Relevent – NewCo seeks a transformative Chief People Officer (CPO) to create and lead its global Human Resources capabilities. The CPO will hold a critical position on the organisation’s senior leadership team, leading the international people strategy that supports agency growth, and the development of a high-performance culture focused on revenue generation and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CPO will partner closely with the senior leadership team to align people practices with strategic business objectives to ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top-tier talent worldwide.
This position calls for a dynamic and strategic CPO who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and excels at scaling businesses. Someone who thrives in a collaborative culture and possesses a high level of business acumen, energy, creativity, and influence. Success in this position requires expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, organisational development, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading HR functions within international, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environments. They are likely to have previously worked in the sports, media, entertainment, marketing, or related consumer facing sectors. This individual should be adept at navigating a landscape marked by constant change while driving innovative talent initiatives that contribute significantly to business growth. Expertise in building strong relationships with leadership and understanding the organisation's needs, allowing for tailored solutions that align with business objectives, is critical. In addition to familiarity in working in globalised workforce environments and possessing an aptitude for strategic and inclusive leadership, the CPO will bring energy and enthusiasm with contemporary practices and new ideas to help establish foundational processes and a culture that enriches and enhances the employee experience across the organisation.
The role will be based in Relevent - NewCo’s London office.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Organisational Alignment
Architect and execute a comprehensive People & Culture strategy that aligns seamlessly with Relevent – NewCo’s goals and drives engagement, performance, and sustainable growth.
Serve as both a strategic and execution lead in the implementation of all people processes and cultural engagement efforts.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing data-driven insights on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organisational development.
Develop and champion Relevent – NewCo’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), fostering a strong, inclusive, and purpose-driven culture across global offices.
Partner with executive leadership to shape people-first initiatives that fuel high performance and organsational success.
Establish detailed statistical reporting to inform leadership on HR metrics and performance, offering measured recommendations for continuous enhancements.
Build and lead a People function that promotes approachability, growth, and teamwork, fostering high levels of capability and accountability across the organisation.
Anticipate and address complex HR challenges, advising leadership on proactive solutions to protect both employees and the business.
Act as a trusted advisor on workplace dynamics, morale, and leadership effectiveness to drive sustainable organisational success.

Leverage advanced people analytics to provide insights that enhance workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and strategic decision-making.
Implement, utilise, and hone people data to enable informed decision-making, anticipate challenges, and advise leadership through key trends and findings.
Lead the selection, implementation, and optimisation of cutting-edge HR technology, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional employee experience at Relevent—NewCo.
Develop a comprehensive employee handbook and implement key organisational policies that are not only clear and accessible but are also easily deployable and integrated into training programs, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with company values.
Ensure legal compliance across all jurisdictions, proactively mitigating risk and protecting both employees and the company.
Oversee employee relations matters, including managing internal investigations in partnership with legal counsel, ensuring consistency, fairness, and adherence to company policies.
Oversee benefits programs that balance employee needs with business sustainability, ensuring a compelling and competitive total rewards offering.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
Build and oversee a global talent strategy that attracts, retains, and develops the best minds in the industry.
Lead recruitment with a data-driven approach—leveraging proactive sourcing, industry insights, and strategic hiring practices to attract and retain top talent.
Own the full talent lifecycle, from structuring competitive compensation to designing a seamless onboarding experience that sets employees up for success.
Establish and continuously optimise an orientation and training program that ensures new hires meet company needs from day one.
Build leadership development and upskilling programs that evolve with business needs and create clear growth pathways for employees.
Partner with commercial leaders to develop competitive, performance-oriented compensation structures, including salaries, equity, and incentive plans, that attract and retain top performers.
Oversee global recruitment efforts to attract exceptional talent across all markets, ensuring alignment with business growth and expansion needs.
Implement scalable hiring processes and workforce planning models that support rapid growth in new regions.
Institute a modernised performance management philosophy with innovative frameworks that drive accountability, career growth, and business impact.
Identify, develop, and oversee training programs that enhance leadership capabilities, ensuring ongoing professional growth for employees.
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years of experience in human resources, ideally within international sports, entertainment, media industries, or fast-paced, high-growth startup/agency environments.
Proven success in building and scaling a global HR infrastructure that supports both operational efficiency and strategic growth.
Deep expertise in international labor laws, employment practices, and global mobility, with a strong focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a positive, results-driven spirit and a proven ability to inspire, lead, and coach teams to achieve high performance.

George will also work closely with ZRG’s Sucherman division to support its ongoing growth in the region. Prior to joining TurnkeyZRG, George was a Partner at Savannah Group, where he led and grew the organization’s Sport & Media Practice across Europe. He previously served at Odgers Berndtson as an Associate, supporting the launch of their Sports Practice and leading the delivery of multiple assignments.

Paddy has a track record of identifying and placing top talent on behalf of clients that include rights holders, governing bodies, international sporting federations, Premier League football clubs and Formula 1 teams. His experience encompasses a broad range of functions, having built expertise in commercial, finance, legal, technology, HR and sustainability assignments.
