Position Summary

The Director of Direct-To-Consumer (“DTC”), will own the development, execution, and optimization of the D2C digital strategy, ensuring a seamless and impactful digital experience for their customers. The Director will be responsible for successfully launching and operating PFL’s direct-to-consumer experience, building and integrating PFL’s first loyalty program, and managing digital partnerships. This is a critical leadership role, reporting to the SVP, New Business, and will lead cross functional teams to drive digital innovation, enhance brand engagement, and achieve business objectives.

As PFL is a high-growth company, the successful candidate must be able to manage their primary day-to-day responsibilities along with problem-solving for new challenges as they arise and must be adaptable to the evolving responsibilities of the role. PFL is seeking a professional, self-starter, inquisitive, technology-forward, with a strong attention to detail, who is capable of researching, problem-solving, while managing competing priorities. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Leadership:

  • Along with SVP, New Business - develop and execute a comprehensive direct-to-consumer strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer insights.

  • Work with PFL’s streaming partner and lead cross-functional team to launch reimagined app.

  • Lead operation of app on an ongoing basis – extracting key insights and adapting strategy accordingly.

  • Successfully plan and launch initiatives that are extensions of PFL’s direct-to-consumer strategy (e.g., loyalty program).

  • Provide thought leadership on digital transformation, identifying emerging trends and technologies to keep the company at the forefront of the digital landscape.

  • Work with third-parties throughout PFL’s ecosystem and broader digital ecosystem to implement and evolve strategy.

  • Lead cross functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Performance Marketing & Analytics:

  • Define and manage digital KPIs, using data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure success.

  • Partner with marketing / data and analytics teams to track user behavior, improve conversions, and increase ROI.

Digital Product Management:

  • Oversee the development and optimization of the company’s website, apps, and digital tools.

  • Collaborate with external partners and creative teams to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience.

  • Ensure PFL digital products have a consistent look and feel.

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and technology partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with marketing, sales, production, and product teams to integrate digital initiatives across the organization.

  • Advocate for customer-centricity, ensuring that digital strategies address pain points and create value.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives that improve internal workflows and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in launching and operating DTC offerings, loyalty/membership, and digital product development.

  • Proven track record of driving digital growth and managing large-scale digital projects.

  • Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, including web3, machine learning, and streaming solutions.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.

Background Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5 – 10 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Salary

$175,000 - $200,000 plus bonus.
